Enjoyed reading your comments. The Walla Walla Valley is a special place for anyone who loves wine, and for many who do not. I appreciate the details in your comments on wines. Thank you for these kind words. Although I live in the Walla Walla Valley, I was forced by the editors of Wine Enthusiast magazine to stop reviewing WW wines about 12 years ago. Now that I am completely independent, I am doing my damndest to reconnect with WW wineries. But I'll be honest – it has not been easy, and some long time friends seem to have forgotten all I've done for them over many decades. I will keep trying!

I agree with your point on the significance of community in the wine biz. I would describe that community in Washington State as a brotherhood because being part of it feels like being part of a family.
