The song is GREAT. I've got nothing against them foreign wines (I grew up on them), but Thanksgiving is an American holiday, and deserves an American wine!
Thanks for the tune! Hope you had a great thanksgiving. We enjoyed a bottle or three. Pinot Gris (Winter Hill), Kitty Kat reisling (for my wife) and Gramercy Tempranillo (2014).
Paul, you hit it out of the park with this song! We loved it at our house. Hope it becomes a holiday regular. We must admit we may have some foreign borin' wine for our Thanksgiving gathering, only so much control over the troops.
Quick story. In an earlier version of the song, I happened to be playing solo at the Pike Place tasting room and Veronique Drouhin came in to listen. When I got to the "sissy stuff they drink in France" line she was not amused. But I think she's forgiven me since then.
Great tune! “Drink for the pleasure, not for the show”

Great idea Paul! Pulled several for mine Thanksgiving--a nice riesling, an Oregon pinot noir, a Sauternes, and a bottle of Champagne. Enjoy yours!
Enjoy! Sounds like enough wine for at least you and a friend.
