When I lived in Manhattan, I would go into my neighborhood wine shop weekly and ask for Oregon or Washington Viogniers. Every time, they would look at me like I was crazy, ask me to spell it as they looked it up on their computer, and say they didn't have it, perplexed with this request. Sadly, two years of living there, despite weekly requests, they never carried it. As one of my favorite grapes ever, we harvested, crushed, and pressed our own (very, very sticky) Viognier this past weekend. Two harvests prior the grapes didn't work out. This year, these beauties from Horse Heaven Hills were perfect. I absolutely cannot wait for to bottle this amazing wine and share it with our members. Thank you for reviewing the under-appreciated Viognier. I hope more people will want to drink such special and delightful wines.

Loved your Chenin Blancs. Was sad to see you stop producing.
